Barnett discusses some of the programs she initiated, such as a food truck ministry to feed thousands of people each month, and Project Prevention, designed to keep impoverished households together. Read by the perky and likable Sarah Jindra, this audiobook—unlike some religious audio productions—is never aggressively cheerful. Jindra’s clean, confident performance certainly feels genuine and perfectly embodies the tone of Barnett’s book about her idealism and work in Los Angeles. A Tyndale Momentum paperback.
