MY ALEXANDRIA TALES The author recounts her first few months settling into a new life on a new continent after emigrating from South Africa. Old Town Alexandria, on the banks of the Potomac River in the U.S. was her choice. Her two companions, were her devoted dogs, Kiote a male Siberian husky and Lucinda, a female golden retriever. Both played a big part in grounding her. The stories were first captured in her letters home to family and friends.
